Review of the latest Huawei MateBook X Pro

A bold statement has been made with the Huawei MateBook X Pro. No one saw this coming, but it is here. We are taken aback by this  latest laptop

In the past, Huawei laptops used to be wishy-washy. Poor battery life, bad keyboard and shabby design. Not anymore. Huawei MateBook X Pro is a testament to that fact.

Design

The Huawei MateBook X Pro’s design is cool and impressive. It features an aluminium body design with diamond-cut edges and a sandblast finish. This makes this laptop to look really luxurious and alluring.

Huawei MateBook X Pro

When it is closed, the MateBook X Pro is 0.19 inches at its thinnest end and 0.57 inches at its thickest. The PC weighs about 1.33kg or 2.93 pounds. MateBook X Pro is even lighter than Apple’s MacBook Air which is 1.35kg.

Without a doubt, this laptop is very slim and light enough to be carried around. The MateBook X Pro comes in two colours – space grey and mystic silver. They both look stunning.

Display

The Huawei MateBook X Pro comes with 13.9-inch IPS screen with a remarkably thin, 4.4mm bezels all around it. This makes the overall size of the laptop to be under 12 inches wide. The company claims that the Huawei MateBook X Pro is the world’s first ‘FullView’ notebook which has a 91% screen to body ratio.

In comparison, its predecessor, the MateBook had a ratio of 84%. Many more laptop users are falling in love with tiny bezels, and that is very understandable. Tiny bezels give more space for display, and the MateBook X Pro is very eye-catching.
