LG is set to release another device together with the G8 ThinQ at the MWC event scheduled to hold in Barcelona this year. The G8 ThinQ will be arriving with a ToF front facing camera. But the new device called LG K12+ will be arriving with an entry level specs including the Helio P22 chipset and HD+ resolution.
The new device won’t be coming with a notch but it will come with HD+ screen and 18:9 aspect ratio. The display diagonal will likely be around 5.8inches since the DPI is 280. The device will be running on android 8.1 Oreo and the MediaTek chipset will come with 3GB RAM. Since the LG K11+ came with 32GB storage last year, there is also the possibility that the successor LG K12+ will arrive with 32GB storage.
Other spec seen include a finger print scanner on the back and a face unlock feature which most affordable devices come with these days.
